Is it possible now to calmly visit a neighboring country and return home?
If there is no emergency, the trip abroad should be postponed. The risks are too great that you can go only one way across the border.

In March, more than 100 Estonian residents were held hostage by the situation and could not cross the border to return home until March 30, when the Russian authorities made an indulgence.
Exceptions are made for those traveling to a relative’s funeral. Supporting documents will be required at the Russian border, and an application must be submitted in advance to the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board at the e-mail address: ppa@politsei.ee.

The Police and Border Guard Board does not prevent border crossing. In other words, they will definitely let you out of Estonia. But it should be remembered that in Russia you will need to be quarantined 14 days upon arrival. For violation of this requirement shall be fined.

This fish spawns in May; it has long been noticed that it coincides with the days of flowering bird cherry. The lamprey has a lifespan of 7 years, of which she spends five years in river silt in the form of larvae-tortoises, and two years in the sea, gains weight and becomes what we are used to seeing. After two years at sea, the fish returns to the river for spawning.

At the end of the summer season, Ust-Narva hosts the traditional lamprey festival, which gathers tourists from Estonia and other countries.

This year it was scheduled for June 13th.

The tenth in a row – one might say, anniversary – the race cannot take place because of the epidemic. So far, two options are being considered:

• Virtual race. Each participant runs the allotted distance on any route to the athlete’s choice, then sends the result to the organizers. There is already experience in holding a competition in this format: this is how the May women’s race was held.
• Reschedule a race to a different date. So far, the approximate date is called either autumn of 2020, or even 2021.

“Negotiations with the Athletics Union continue until the question of what will happen to the half-marathon championship has been resolved,” Lillalik said.

The organizers of the Narva Energy Run will announce their decision in May, after negotiations with city authorities and event sponsors.

“At present, the city of Narva cannot fulfill this requirement. With the volume of street simulators that we have, this is not feasible. Therefore, we will not open our simulators yet, let the situation calm down even more,” the Mayor of Narva Alexey Evgrafov.

As the weather improves, more and more athletes can be seen on the streets of Narva. We remind you that it is not forbidden to play sports on the street during a state of emergency, however, it is important to remember to respect the distance and other safety measures. It is expected that if the epidemiological situation improves, group outdoor sports will soon be allowed.

We are even talking about two unfinished bicycle paths: along the Tallinn-Narva highway and along the Narva-Narva-Jõesuu highway.

It is planned that the construction will be completed no later than April 2021, possibly earlier, to a large extent, the time depends on weather conditions in the autumn-winter period.

There is every reason to hope that next year it will be possible to get to the resort town by bicycle. The construction contract was signed on April 24, the term of the contract is 12 months. The length of all bike paths in the city is over 40 km.
