Department of Social Assistance of Narva

The Department of Social Assistance of the City of Narva is the official institution of the city of Narva.
The activities of the Department of Social Assistance of the City of Narva include social care, health promotion and healthcare in the city of Narva.
Tasks of the Department of Social Assistance of the City of Narva:

• organization and provision of social services and other types of assistance to needy groups of the city population;
• assignment and payment of social benefits;
• organization of the provision of social services and other social assistance;
• the organization of work related to guardianship and the fulfillment of the tasks of the city of Narva as a guardianship institution based on the Family Law;
• organization of the funeral of deceased rootless persons;
• organization of health care activities.

The Narva Center for Social Work is a subordinate institution of the Department of Social Assistance of the City of Narva.
